  • It is better to wear warm and loose-fitting clothing, which has several layers, mittens, face cover, and a hat when you go outdoors. It is important to carry when you plan to travel to different countries.
  • Stay dry and don’t stay in cold water for a long time in cold water, which spreads the cold severely, especially the kids and the elderly people.
  • Take extra precautions in the wind. Yes, a strong wind may slightly cold weather, which can produce a wind chill considerably below freezing.

  • Be aware of while getting hypothermia symptoms.

  • Check on aging people or weak people, particularly if they stay alone or under isolated areas.

Winter storms may cause more power outages, and that may lead to problems in the foods that we store. If food loses power more than three to four hours, make sure to take precautions with fridge food products which given below:

  • Keep the fridge doors closed as long as during power outages.
  • Discard all the hazardous foods potentially such as eggs, meats, leftovers foods, and dairy products that may freeze with 40 degrees or with a higher temperature, which may keep you in trouble if you eat.
  • Avoid foods that are very cool like cooldrinks, ice creams, etc., which frizz from two to three days. 
  • Make sure to heat the complete house to be warm, and have the room temperature with 19°C.
  • Caulk windows and doors to stop cold air coming in from outside.
  • Put the rooms well ventilated to kill the germs which come inside sometime.

Also, make sure to take several home remedies that keep you warm every time like taking ginger tea, and drink warm water with lemon in the morning, which makes you well if you have any weakness. 

These are some of the precautions you need to follow when the weather condition is very cool. Especially in these corona times, you need to be careful while going out for work. Yes, if there is a freezing climate, make sure to take some precautions without going simple. You may get some cold symptoms, which also cause the coronavirus. Avoid kids to take them outside these days. Foods also include precautions that are kept in the refrigerator for a long time. With that, you may get throat pain and many other cold symptoms.
